Job Title: Senior Fleet Officer

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fleet Officer to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and implement vessel manning plans, selecting and evaluating crew members.
  • Approve employment contracts of seafarers issued by Crewing Service Companies (CSCs), ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Develop and implement relief/rotation planning and End-of-Cruise (EoC) procedures for ships' personnel.
  • Identify future and current vacancies in vessels' personnel and inform supervisors and CSCs for accurate coverage.
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Planning Manager to develop annual manning plans and budgets.
  • Coordinate vessel, agency, port agent, and travel agent communication for efficient crew embarkations/disembarkations.
  • Maintain flag state information and documentation for legitimate vessel operation.
  • Inform personnel on assigned vessels of operational procedure changes and provide relevant documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of assigned vessels' seafarers, identify training needs, and cooperate with training centers for skill development.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as an FPO in maritime recruiting.
  • Excellent knowledge of vessels' crew requirements and seafarers' specifications.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics for demand-supply situations.
  • Experience in recruitment, training, and development methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of seafarers' rights and maritime labor law.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in PC software.
