Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our global finance team. This role will directly report to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and AR reporting.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about bringing order, transparency, and strategic value to the AR process in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute accurate customer invoices based on sales orders, including volume-based billing metrics.
  • Generate and issue credit notes in accordance with company policies.
  • Record and reconcile incoming customer payments on a timely basis.
  • Review customer agreements and ensure billing schedules align with contract terms.
  • Support revenue recognition reviews and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Regularly analyze AR aging reports to proactively address collection risks.
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to resolve client billing or payment issues.
  • Prepare reports related to AR, collections, and invoicing for both finance and senior leadership.
  • Assist in designing and maintaining internal processes related to billing, cash collection, and bad debt tracking.
  • Provide support for month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, fintech, or tech company.
  • Advanced experience in Netsuite and MS Excel.
  • Experience in managing multi-currency, multi-entity, and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue recognition and billing best practices.
  • Familiarity with internal controls frameworks (e.g., COSO) and financial compliance standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across teams and geographies.
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems and comfort with fast-moving environments.
