  • We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage and optimize financial operations for our organization.

About the Role

  • As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will oversee daily accounting functions, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • You will also be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of transactions.
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain budgets and financial forecasts; provide variance analysis and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Accounting Operations: Utilize and enhance accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, ERP platforms) and Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets for efficient data analysis and reporting.

Requirements

  • Education & Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), PRC Board Passer.
  • Experience: 5+ years in accounting, financial analysis, AR/AP, month-end reconciliation, 3+ years creating financial reports, ideally in e-commerce or remote/digital businesses.
  • Skills & Expertise: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, Proficiency in financial data interpretation and reporting, Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and financial modeling tools.

Preferred Qualifications And Attributes

  • Financial operations experience in e-commerce or retail, Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp and Slack, Comfortable managing cross-time zone tasks (Pacific Time & PH), Prior exposure to remote work, cross-cultural teams, and staffing agencies.
