Job Role: Loan Portfolio Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Loan Portfolio Specialist.

This role is responsible for monitoring and managing resolved loans, ensuring all relevant processes are followed. The successful candidate will be agile, responsible for tracking loan repayments, liaising with law firms and clients, monitoring the sale(s) of real property associated with the loan and assisting in the closure process of accounts.


Responsibilities:
  • Resolve Loan Monitoring: Track and manage resolved loans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Document Retrieval: Obtain final Orders or Agreements from legal representatives.
  • Financial Analysis: Review and analyze legal documents to determine repayment obligations and financial implications.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with law firms to track loan resolution progress.
  • Account Closure: Prepare and distribute final statements to borrowers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Asset Management: Assist in the registration and withdrawal of mortgages and caveats.
  • Closure Confirmation: Send closure confirmation emails upon successful loan repayment and resolution.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in loan administration, finance, legal services, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of financial documents, loan agreements, and legal orders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work proactively and follow up with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive client matters.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required.
