Job Title: Medical Claims Specialist

Description:

We are seeking an entry-level professional to fill the position of Medical Claims Specialist. This role involves reviewing and analyzing accounts receivables (A/R) reports to identify unpaid claims or patient balances.

  • The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication abilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze A/R reports to pinpoint unpaid claims or patient balances
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all collection activities and account updates in our system
  3. Communicate professionally and empathetically with patients, clients, and billers to resolve outstanding balances and secure payments
  4. Meet individual and team productivity targets, including call handling metrics, collection goals, and documentation standards
  5. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve account issues and escalate complex cases when necessary
  6. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and data privacy policies at all times
  7. Participate in ongoing training sessions and performance reviews as scheduled

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in BPO, specifically handling US Healthcare accounts
  • Strong working knowledge of US Healthcare claim denials and rejections
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Prior experience with Revenue Cycle Management/Accounts Receivable is highly desirable
  • Availability to work onsite at Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong, and willingness to adapt to night shifts
