Mental Health Specialist

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our wellbeing department, you will play an integral role in supporting the psychological safety, emotional resilience, and overall mental health of our employees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology or counseling, with experience in delivering one-on-one sessions, facilitating small-group sessions, and providing timely support for urgent wellbeing needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Individual Wellbeing Sessions: Conduct monthly or on-demand 1:1 wellbeing sessions, incorporating stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies, and decision-making skills.
  • Group Sessions: Facilitate monthly small-group sessions focusing on peer support in a psychologically safe space to foster healthy working relationships and social connection.
  • Training & Development: Deliver group training sessions on well-being and resiliency, ensuring all training is delivered within prescribed timeframes and formats.
  • Observation & Support: Conduct daily floor walks to observe team interactions and employee demeanor, providing discreet and proactive intervention as necessary.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in psychology or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience post-bachelor's degree in mental health, preferably in areas such as trauma counselling, resilience-building programs, or general mental health support.
  • Valid and active license from the relevant professional regulatory body.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
