Financial Operations Specialist

This is a remote position where you'll manage day-to-day financial operations, including expenses, accounting software, invoicing, AP/AR, and reconciliations. As the go-to expert for all things bookkeeping, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record and manage daily transactions, including sales entries
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain up-to-date financial records
  • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), with an AP-focused workload
  • Prepare, send, and follow up on invoices
  • Utilize accounting tools including QuickBooks, Ramp, MS 365, and POS systems
  • Collaborate with clients to provide timely updates and financial insights
  • Keep accounting software current and accurate
Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting (AP-focused is advantageous)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online is preferred
  • Familiarity with Ramp, MS 365 tools, and POS systems (Aloha preferred) is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
