Global Business Solutions Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Global Business Solutions Architect to join our team in the APJ region. This is a remote-first role with potential for limited international travel.

In this position, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to design and deliver scalable, secure, and client needs-aligned solutions.

About the Role
  • Strong storytelling and solution-selling abilities are essential for success in this role.
  • A solid understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud platforms is required.
  • The ability to turn complex technical topics into clear business value is critical.
  • Confident communication and presentation skills are necessary for stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Learning & Development (L&D) solutions is a plus.
  • Knowledge of integration methods (APIs, SSO, data feeds) is also beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously is required.
  • Experience in technical documentation and solution design is essential.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance standards is necessary.
  • Team-oriented mindset with experience working across functions is critical.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with potential clients, providing strategic business and technical guidance on implementing Degreed solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on integrations, configurations, and product capabilities.
  • Support Sales by answering technical questions and handling solution presentations.
  • Develop and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept sessions showcasing Degreed's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify and qualify new business opportunities, offering technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Assist in creating use cases, statements of work, and RFP responses.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, and Client Experience teams to ensure seamless product delivery and long-term client success.
  • Conduct technical assessments and recommend improvements for existing systems and processes.
  • Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Background in pre-sales engineering, technical consulting, or SaaS architecture is required.
  • Solid experience with cloud computing, integration technologies, and security protocols is necessary.
  • Experience engaging with clients and leading technical discussions is critical.
  • Prior experience in HCM or L&D solutions is a plus.
