About This Role: We're looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance function by providing timely and accurate financial information.

About The Job: In this exciting role, you will be responsible for processing daily cash transactions, preparing month-end reconciliations, and supporting regulatory reporting. You will also collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on invoice and payment processing, and provide support for Accounts Receivable as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process daily cash transactions and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations, including key expense accounts.
  • Support regulatory reporting, including submissions to APRA and ATO.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team on invoice and payment processing.
  • Provide support for Accounts Receivable as required.
  • Assist with Financial Statement preparation, including notes and audit requests.
  • Address ad hoc accounting and operational tasks as needed.

About Your Background: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus. You should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, and be progressing towards or have recently completed a post-graduate qualification in accounting or finance.
