Transactions Control and Settlement Specialist

Job Summary:

The Transactions Control and Settlement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions. This role involves data processing, transaction monitoring, and financial reporting to maintain compliance and support efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Attainment: A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or banking operations is preferred. Candidates should have exposure to data processing, transaction monitoring, and financial reporting, with experience using MS Excel to handle large data sets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel: A strong command of MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups, is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Must possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in identifying discrepancies and potential errors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills are required to effectively resolve issues.
  • Time Management: Must have excellent time management and organizational abilities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Teamwork: A strong team player with robust collaboration skills is necessary to work effectively with various departments.
