Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing escalated service tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed.

You will oversee diverse computing environments for various business clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues. This includes installing, configuring, and maintaining software, hardware, networks, and servers.

You will set up user accounts and workstations, ensuring security through access controls, backups, and firewalls. Additionally, you will analyze and document unfamiliar client/server setups to identify quick solutions.

You will perform workstation/server incidents and resolve high-level issues. You will also provide consulting on applications, best practices, and general IT processes.

Furthermore, you will operate and monitor network security protocols, including firewalls and internet connections.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Systems or Network Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of system security, including intrusion detection and data backup/recovery.
  • Expertise in desktop and server support, network configurations, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Server and Workstation technologies.
  • Experience with databases, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management.
  • Ability to follow processes and escalate unclear variables to management.
  • Familiar with multiple operating systems and platforms.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and task coordination skills.
