Procurement Specialist Role

You will play a key part in ensuring our supply chain operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborate with the procurement team to source high-quality materials, components, and finished goods from domestic and international suppliers.
  2. Prepare and issue purchase orders based on inventory levels, sales forecasts, and production schedules.
  3. Communicate effectively with vendors to confirm order status, delivery dates, and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date purchasing records in the purchase order system and tracking worksheets.
  5. Track incoming shipments, coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams, and ensure timely delivery.
  6. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide excellent customer service and support.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to drive process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (desired).
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management (preferably in the furniture or home goods industry).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
