Consolidation Accounting Supervisor Job Summary

The Consolidation Accounting Supervisor is a key role that oversees the preparation of consolidated financial statements and assists in the month-end functions. This position will report to the Director, Accounting Reporting and work closely with the Corporate Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

This role requires an experienced accounting professional with a strong background in US-based or global organizations and cross-border collaboration. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to analyze large datasets accurately.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures under US GAAP.
  • Maintenance of various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Reconciliation and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Review of standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
  • Extensive use of ERP systems to build customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations.
  • Process improvement and efficiency suggestions.
  • Support during month-end close.
  • Assistance to external auditors by providing necessary documentation and information.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent international certification is a plus.
  • 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze large datasets accurately.
  • Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to work with minimal supervision.
