Finance Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Finance Leader who will oversee the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is vital in managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and supporting business decisions to drive profitability and efficiency.

This includes preparing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial models, as well as analyzing financial performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting and 2+ years in management budgeting and projections.

Financial Planning and Analysis Responsibilities
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Accounting and Reporting Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
Compliance and Audit Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
Team Management Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams.
  • Develop team skills and improve departmental efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks online, Quickbooks desktop).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
