Financial Transaction Coordinator

The company is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
As an essential link in the company's financial chain, this role ensures that transactions are entered timely and accurately, contributing to healthy cash flows and overall financial stability.
- Manage outflows of financial resources, including bill processing, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Utilize accounting software to manage the AP process.
- Review and verify bills and check requests.
- Enforce payment terms with vendors.
- Maintain accurate and complete vendor records.
- Prepare and maintain accounts payable reports.
- Resolve discrepancies and documentation related to purchase orders, contracts, bills, or payments.
- Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
- Perform reconciliations of payable accounts.
- Assist in month-end closing activities.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
This is a full-time role on a US shift and works from home set-up.
Responsibilities include managing financial resources, utilizing accounting software, reviewing bills and check requests, enforcing payment terms, and maintaining vendor records.
Qualifications include an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles, and proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
