**Accounts Payable Specialist Role**

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a crucial part in our client's accounts payable operations, focusing on enhancing the quality of bill and credit card data. This role involves handling high volumes of transactions, processing payments, vendor interactions, and reconciliation.

  • Verify and process daily Ramp credit card transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
  • Identify suspicious or unauthorized transactions for further review, escalating them as necessary.
  • Engage with cardholders and managers to collect missing documentation, clarify transaction details, and facilitate timely approvals.
  • Solve routine vendor inquiries, troubleshoot payment issues, and escalate to leadership when appropriate.
  • Support AP workflow documentation, including standard operating procedures, exception tracking, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in multi-entity accounting environments.
  • Familiarity with AP software, preferably Ramp.
  • Strong understanding of matching principles.
  • Knowledge of system configurations, user permissions, and data processing flows.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive attitude.

About the Position:

This role operates within Ramp, supporting its ongoing configuration and maintenance. The specialist will gain hands-on experience with day-to-day AP functions, internal controls, and system configurations.

Educational Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Relevant certifications and training are also beneficial.
