Lead Market Operations Specialist

    A successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely settlement of loans, foreign exchange, money market, securities, and derivatives transactions.

    Key responsibilities include reviewing and verifying routine vouchers, input monitors, reports, and related documents, as well as authorizing the sending of payment orders and cable advice/messages.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in treasury and loans operations with in-depth knowledge on financial instruments including FX, derivatives, securities, and money market instruments.

    Strong understanding of regulatory requirements is also essential, particularly in relation to BSP Manual of Regulations.

    Additionally, the candidate should have familiarity with SWIFT and other related trade and payment settlement systems and reconciliation processes.

    Leadership skills are also crucial, with proven ability to manage staff performance reviews, coaching, discipline, and recruitment of department members.

    Effective communication and collaboration with front office, accounting, compliance, risk, and other stakeholders are necessary to achieve business goals and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in any business-related field.
  • Relevant banking experience, preferably in treasury and loans operations.
  • In-depth knowledge on financial instruments including FX, derivatives, securities, and money market instruments.
  • Strong understanding of BSP Manual of Regulations.
  • Familiarity with SWIFT and other related trade and payment settlement systems and reconciliation processes.
  • Leadership skills and people management abilities.
