Role Summary

We are hiring our first local team member in Singapore to establish and oversee VyBlee's on-the-ground operations. This role is central to our Southeast Asian launch and combines hands-on execution with the development of scalable systems.

As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of daily activity, act as the bridge between local partners and the international leadership team, and put in place the structures that will allow us to expand across the region.

In the first months, you will work closely with the CEO in Singapore to launch our first figurehead client — a global blue-chip hospitality management firm. Thereafter, you will operate independently, supported remotely by offshore teams, before building out a local function.

This is a rare entry-level management opportunity for someone ambitious, adaptable, and ready to take responsibility from day one.

Role Description
  • Launch Execution: Coordinate the setup of Singapore operations from the ground up — covering supplier onboarding, process design, workflow documentation, and rollout.
  • Operational Control: Oversee daily activities such as order flow, partner coordination, quality checks, and real-time issue resolution.
  • Customer Success: Map guest and hotel partner journeys, ensuring every touchpoint — from ordering to delivery — drives satisfaction, repeat usage, and long-term retention.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with hotels, kitchen operators, suppliers, and delivery providers on the VyBlee platform.
  • Team & Communication Hub: Serve as the key link between Singapore operations and the international organisation, ensuring smooth communication with HQ, offshore teams, and product/marketing functions.
  • Standards & Measurement: Develop repeatable processes, service protocols, and monitoring tools (fulfilment metrics, service targets) to ensure consistency and accountability.
  • Customer Service: Respond to guest and partner queries, handle escalations, and capture feedback to refine the customer experience.
  • People & Growth: Establish systems for recruiting and training support roles as order volume expands.

Preferred Experience & Background
  • 3–5 years in operations, logistics, or delivery management (hospitality/food industry a plus).
  • Exposure to last-mile delivery or fulfilment processes (preferred, not required).
  • Experience in early-stage or scaling environments where systems are being built.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and partnerships.
  • Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution drive.
  • Strong command of English; local language proficiency highly beneficial.
