Job Title: Home-Based Sales Support Assistant

Job Summary:

This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills who can work effectively in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the sales team in developing and implementing departmental systems.
  • Provide backup telephone answering services, schedule meetings, create meeting agendas, and take detailed meeting notes.
  • Research and identify customer contact information using various sources such as email, Zoominfo, LinkedIn, and phone calls.
  • Input and collate data into CRM systems and engage with current and prospective customers to generate, compile, and maintain an up-to-date contact database.
  • Generate customer quotes for stock products, existing custom products, and new custom products in ERP systems, involving communication with vendors to obtain drawings and costing for custom items.
  • Perform administrative duties as directed by manager, including adding new customers to ACM and setting up SafeSmart as a new vendor with customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient keyboarding/data entry skills as determined by internal testing.
  • Strong knowledge of company products and capabilities.
  • Capable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.
  • Working knowledge of applicable CRM and ERP software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a college or university degree preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and relevant experience.
