Remote Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, reconciling bank accounts, and assisting with audits. You will also provide critical insights to leadership to inform business decisions.
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger transactions
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Help prepare financial statements and supporting documentation
- Support internal and external audits
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and accurate with numbers
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting workflows
- Proficient in Excel (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar software
