Operations Manager Job Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work as an Operations & Property Management Associate/Manager overseeing the daily operations of a portfolio of short-term rental properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day management of short-term rental properties, ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient operational processes.
  • Schedule and manage cleaners, maintenance staff, and contractors, maintaining high standards of property quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular quality checks (virtually or on-site) to ensure property readiness and make data-driven decisions to enhance operations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and reviews across various platforms, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with local short-term rental regulations, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Operational Systems & Financial Oversight:
  • Utilize advanced software like OwnerRez to manage bookings, calendars, messaging automations, and guest records, streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed financial records using QuickBooks, generating reports and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Track expenses, generate financial reports, and assist with end-of-year documentation (P&L, 1099s), ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency.
Marketing & Design Support:
  • Collaborate in optimizing listing content, descriptions, and photography, elevating online presence and driving bookings.
  • Design engaging marketing assets and branded guest materials using tools like Canva, creating a cohesive brand identity.
  • Help implement upselling strategies, guest experience enhancements, or promotions, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Administrative & Process Management:
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations, cleaning, maintenance, and guest communication, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Track key performance metrics (occupancy, RevPAR, guest reviews, etc.), analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and drive business growth.
  • Coordinate calendar availability and blackout dates across platforms, maximizing bookings and revenue.
