Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

This position supports daily/weekly/monthly activities of cash application and collections under the credit & collections team. The role is subject to change by management.

Serves as a subject matter expert for cash application and collection activities in the APAC region. Manages stakeholders and takes over tasks when the team lead is not available.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages processes and documents, conducts best practice sharing, and participates in effective team meetings.
  • Collaborates with other teams for process standardization, assists the team lead on stakeholder meetings, and generates collection worklists and statistics.
  • Posts various payment types to invoices in SAP and ERP systems, produces daily cash reports and targets, performs daily cash reconciliation audits, and processes refund payments and bank details in SAP.
  • Setups and processes direct debits, prepares customer communications, processes monthly collection dunning runs, assigns new customers to collection portfolios, and supports month-end activities and daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
  • Processes intercompany netting/transfers.
Basic Qualifications | Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cash application, collections, dispute management, billing, and customer service.
  • Fluency in Korean language verbal and written communication skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with ERP, preferably SAP FI module.
  • Previous working experience with Asia Pacific counterpart beneficial.
  • Intermediate knowledge in accounting.
  • Previous working experience in large/global organizations.
