Job Description

As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for purchasing and sourcing of direct materials within an agreed and defined supply strategy in support of program quality, delivery targets, and operational excellence.

  • Assess and coordinate suppliers' performance to OTD and DPPM compliance for any impact on the programs' lifecycle. Ensure proactive management of Supply Chain risk by implementing mitigation strategies and reporting status within the Risk Matrix to the PMT (Program Management Team).
  • Proactively manage cost adherence to approved plans, providing updates as necessary for PMT reviews or change impact, including Non-Recurring & Recurring costs associated with the Supply Chain work package.
  • Capture and ensure Supply Chain IPT actions are closed in a reasonable time to support Program needs.
  • Develop and implement business processes to improve supply chain systems and processes' execution.
  • Uphold high ethical standards and adhere to EHS practices and standards across the site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing Program conflicts to ensure each Program gets the necessary support.
  • Acting as the Supply Chain point of contact to both internal and external customers, requiring attendance at customer meetings and providing reports.
