Payroll Specialist

This role involves end-to-end payroll processing for a team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of tasks.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll impacting changes, tax forms, payments, and payroll processing for assigned clients.
  • Perform quality control and auditing to ensure accuracy and low error or defect percentage.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve client payroll matters and employee inquiries.
  • Provide HR/Payroll support services to clients according to contract requirements and business needs.
  • Create and update standard operating procedures.
  • Manage client-related tasks within the task management system.
  • Proactively manage quarter and year-end payroll auditing.

Requirements:

  • College Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting/Taxation, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
  • Knowledge of Australia and/or New Zealand payroll is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times.
  • Self-starter capable of taking initiative and working with minimal direction.
