Job Role Overview

About the Position:

The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting and analyzing overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets.

  • Inspect and catalog overhead utility assets for consistent, high-quality data collection
  • Identify and document electrical utility equipment, faults, and potential hazards
  • Assist in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets to support operational improvements
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with industry standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution

Key Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a lineman in the electric utility field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities
  • Nice-to-have: Working knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices
