The Role:

The Senior Utility Engineer conducts inspections and analysis of overhead electrical infrastructure ensuring accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth inspections and catalog utility assets with high accuracy.
  • Identify electrical equipment issues and potential hazards, providing real-time data.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets for operational improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams for data accuracy and industry standards alignment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for safe and efficient project execution.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices for operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in training programs for technical knowledge and skill development.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and industry engineering practices (nice-to-have).
  • Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work remotely and coordinate with a distributed workforce.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies in the utility sector.
