We are currently seeking a highly skilled Software Technical Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
  • Provide technical support for software applications in an AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with development teams, internal stakeholders, and clients to improve application performance.
  • Manage ticketed query systems and ensure comprehensive databases of queries and resolutions are kept up to date.
  • Analyze software application functionality and suggest improvements.
  • Communicate with vendors maintaining infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain application services.
  • Develop run books of operational processes, striving to automate where possible.
  • Improve monitoring of the platform and ownership of these tools/dashboards.

The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot tickets from customers and continuously improve the team, tools, and processes.

This role requires 4+ years of experience in client-facing application support, as well as knowledge of various UNIX/Linux commands and functions.

The ideal candidate will also have experience supporting cloud-environments (AWS preferred), good knowledge of databases, and ability to write and debug SQL queries.

Additionally, experience with one or more of the following systems: Tomcat, Nginx, Zookeeper, MongoDB, scripting languages, and FIX Applications would be beneficial but not required.
