Clinical Requirements Analyst

Position: Medical Writer; Work setup & shift: Work-from-home | Night shift.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, gathering, and documenting clinical requirements using best practices. They will validate clinical requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure correct coding guideline interpretations.
Your Responsibilities- Analyze clinical requirements and document them using best practices.
- Validate clinical requirements with subject matter experts to ensure accurate interpretations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate rule/policy behavior and confirm that solution requirements meet business expectations.
- Document content requirements to promote immediate post-release content maintenance handoffs.
- Contribute to user documentation, including edits and clarifications.
- Assist with end-user training activities.
- Support Quality Assurance test plan validation.
- Perform user acceptance testing of policies and/or rules.
- Bachelor's degree in health information management, nursing, or a related field.
- AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or AHIMA CCS-P or CCS certification required.
- 5+ years of relevant healthcare experience, with at least 2 years in payment/reimbursement or medical policy analysis.
- Effective communication skills and ability to present complex material clearly.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and assess potential vulnerabilities.
- Superior critical thinking skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
