Our client is a leader in brand development and turnkey manufacturing, serving top names in the nutrition and personal care world. We're seeking a skilled Procurement Support professional to take charge of purchasing and production planning, ensuring smooth operations.

This role involves managing vendor relationships, tracking purchase orders, verifying data accuracy, and maintaining inventory levels. You'll be responsible for collaborating with warehouse and receiving teams, communicating with logistics providers, and resolving any discrepancies or delays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vendor & Purchase Order Management:
    • Manage relationships with vendors, monitor email communication, and ensure timely responses.
    • Track and follow up on purchase orders, adding detailed status notes as needed.
    • Escalate any order discrepancies or technical issues to management.
  • Data Accuracy & System Checks:
    • Verify that PO details match across all platforms, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
    • Review receipts to confirm goods delivered match the order.
    • Flag and resolve shortages or unresolved items.
  • Inventory Reporting & Tracking:
    • Generate weekly inventory reports from SOS Inventory, highlighting materials pending release.
    • Identify and report discrepancies such as incorrect transfer amounts between locations.
    • Monitor materials in quarantine or pending transfer to ensure timely movement.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    • Partner with warehouse and receiving teams to ensure smooth movement of goods.
    • Communicate with 3PL providers to schedule and confirm product pickups.
    • Follow up daily with 3PL to ensure pickups are scheduled promptly.
    • Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or delivery delays.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Background in procurement or purchasing support, preferably within food, pharmaceutical, or device sectors.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable learning and working with ERP systems, procurement platforms, and inventory tracking tools.
