As we continue to expand our footprint, we are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Procurement Specialist to drive success in securing new contracts and partnerships through competitive procurement opportunities.

Position Overview

The Client Procurement Specialist will oversee the end-to-end procurement and bid process, with a strong focus on Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and bid submissions in the transportation industry. This role requires excellent project management skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to translate our company's capabilities into winning proposals that meet client and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation, development, and submission of RFPs, RFIs, and bid proposals for contracts in the motorcoach and ground transportation sector.
  • Work closely with operations, sales, safety, and finance teams to ensure proposals reflect company capabilities, compliance, and service standards.
  • Interpret bid requirements and create detailed compliance checklists specific to transportation contracts.
  • Highlight company strengths in safety records, fleet management, customer service, and regulatory compliance within proposals.
  • Track and analyze procurement opportunities at the municipal, state, federal, and private-sector levels.
  • Maintain a database of past proposals, client references, and supporting documents to streamline future submissions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, school districts, corporate clients, and event planners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, bid management, or RFP response development — ideally in transportation, logistics, or a related service industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and compliance requirements for transportation contracts.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to create compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with motorcoach or passenger transportation contracting.
  • Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • APMP certification or equivalent proposal management training.
