About the Role

Key Responsibilities and Financial Management
  • Handle financial queries efficiently.
  • Manage daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation, and account administration.
  • Coordinate term deposit investments and maturity communication.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reviews and reports.
  • Prepare detailed cashflow forecasts and management strategies.
  • Conduct thorough year-end financial checks and accrual journals.
  • Develop a well-planned financial year budget.
  • Issue contribution levies to owners as required.
  • Liaise with external auditors on audit queries.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new business.
  • Prepare and review quarterly BAS statements.
  • Review yearly tax obligations and prepare relevant documentation.
Budgeting and Financial Planning
  • Process payroll and superannuation for an employed building manager.
  • Investigate ad hoc bank deposit recalls and dishonoured payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree qualification in accounting or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Experience in budget preparation.
  • Understanding of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow).
  • Ability to review financial statements and communicate results effectively.
  • Account reconciliation expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of income tax and BAS is desirable.
