Job Title: Senior Financial Manager

About the Role

The Senior Financial Manager is a pivotal position that plays a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of an organization.

This role involves overseeing various aspects of financial operations, including payroll, superannuation, and tax obligations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing accounts receivable, tracking expenses, and coordinating with bookkeepers to ensure accurate account reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as experience in policy development and leadership. A Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification is highly regarded, along with post-graduate qualifications.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in non-profit or community organizations, is essential. Strong knowledge of Australian financial regulations, including ASIC and ACNC frameworks, is also required.

The selected candidate will be proficient in using Xero, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and ideally Salesforce. Leadership skills, results-driven attitude, team-building abilities, high ethics, and integrity are also crucial.

Key Requirements
