Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Java (Spring Boot, JSF, etc.).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality backend services that meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, JSF, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit).
  • Proficient in using Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in the financial services industry (e.g., banking, trading, insurance, fintech).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
