Job Overview
- This role involves providing professional services to clients, utilizing expertise in accounting, finance, economics, and data analysis.
Responsibilities:
Engagement Management- Participate and lead team meetings, taking minutes as necessary.
- Gather information from client personnel, or through other sources such as meeting minutes.
- Document observations and evidence gathered during procedures.
- Review engagement schedules and documents prepared by clients for accuracy.
- Perform assigned procedures under the guidance of senior consultants.
- Ensure all work programs are completed thoroughly and documented properly.
- Respond promptly to review notes and follow-ups from supervisors.
- Exercise diligence and skepticism when performing tasks.
- Inform superiors of any issues encountered.
- Research and discuss resolution options with superiors for identified engagement issues.
- File relevant evidence in an engagement binder.
- Complete all workpapers before report release.
- Submit supporting workpapers during the review process.
- Maintain clear coordination and good working relationships with clients, superiors, colleagues, and associates within and outside the firm.
- Display a 'can-do' attitude when accepting assignments and working with others.
- Assist higher-level personnel in proposal preparation and project execution.
- Organize working paper files prior to review or transfer to Central Files.
- Submit accurate time reports in a timely manner.
- Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and established practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Demonstrate excellent academic and leadership credentials.
- Fresh CPA board exam passers encouraged to apply.
- Advanced communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Self-prioritization, deadline-sensitive, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to travel on short notice and extended periods.
- Positive attitude and motivation to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team member.
- Proactive in asking clarifying questions.
- Solid understanding and application of risk and control concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other spreadsheet applications.
Minimum 1 year of experience required.
StatusProbationary status with a full-time, FTE position.
