Operational Excellence Consultant

The Operational Excellence Consultant will provide support to the Operational Excellence Tower Leader in executing strategic initiatives for process and performance improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results-oriented projects that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct process discovery sessions, gather data, identify gaps and opportunities, and develop project deliverables such as process maps, policies, and procedures documentation.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and critical thinking by participating in Operational Excellence forums and communities of practice.
  • Participate in LEAN Six Sigma workshops and other trainings.
  • Model corporate governance and compliance policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • College degree or equivalent business experience.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in process and performance improvement projects with a focus on customer service operations in the insurance, BPO, and/or shared services industry.
  • Experience managing project stakeholders, including delivering presentations, developing status reports, and facilitating project meetings.
  • LEAN Six Sigma Greenbelt Trained or LEAN Six Sigma Yellowbelt Certified is an asset.
  • Familiarity with commonly used BPO tools and systems.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across different geos.
  • Training on Operational Excellence, Problem Solving, and Project Management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
