Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for production of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.
  • Involved in monthly/quarterly 'close' process.
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.
Requirements:
  • College graduate (any accounting-related course).
  • 1+ years of accounting experience.
  • Extensive work experience within own function.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, especially Excel.
