The
Accounting Specialist
will handle daily accounting operations, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, prepares financial statements, and supports budgeting and forecasting. The position also maintains compliance with accounting standards and strengthens internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll (depending on company size).
  • Process financial transactions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Close the accounting books monthly and annually.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Maintain a comprehensive chart of accounts.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decisions.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Manage internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).
  • Stay up-to-date on accounting rules and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Open to fresh graduates who are highly trainable;
  • Minimum 1 year of experience;
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (GAAP preferred);
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy.
