We are actively seeking a Senior Accountant to join our accounting team as a key member, reporting directly to the Global Controller. This role requires ownership of accounting at several portfolio companies and acting as a consultant to the portfolio company management team. The ideal candidate will take charge of month-end close processes, manage bank transactions and reconcile accounts, prepare general ledger entries, and maintain records and files.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire month-end close process for multiple companies.
  • Record and reconcile bank transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
  • Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.
  • Develop new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures.
  • Conduct research on technical accounting issues and document findings.
  • Assist with intercompany consolidation of financial information.
  • Prepare annual audit materials and interact effectively with auditors.
  • Oversee corporate credit card programs.
  • Be willing to assist with any accounting function if needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree and/or CPA certification are preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in accounting is required.
  • Experience working with US companies is essential.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices is required.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail, are required.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Xero is beneficial.
