We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Remote Intake Specialist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be fluent in English, and have experience in a customer service, patient intake, or call center role.
">Job Title: Remote Intake SpecialistAbout the Role:The primary responsibility of this role is to manage patient intake and communication. This includes answering and managing intake phone calls from patients in a friendly and professional manner, acting as a remote receptionist.
Patient information gathering is also a crucial aspect of this position. The Remote Intake Specialist will obtain and record detailed client information, including personal details, location, and a summary of symptoms or chief complaints.
Apart from these responsibilities, the Remote Intake Specialist will schedule same-day or urgent appointments based on the urgency of the patient's needs. They will also determine and assign the appropriate doctor for each case based on the patient's symptoms, location, and timing.
Effective communication and follow-up are essential skills for this role. The Remote Intake Specialist will send out confirmation details and informative follow-ups to patients and doctors. After each appointment, they will reach out to patients to confirm their issue was addressed and they are satisfied with the service.
