Technical Support Specialist

At MCI, we are looking for skilled individuals to join our team as Technical Support Specialists. This is a fantastic opportunity to work from home and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to clients across various industries.

About the Role
  • You will respond to technical inquiries, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and guide users through step-by-step solutions with patience and professionalism.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Prior call center experience and the ability to multitask and self-manage effectively are also essential.
Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support via phone, chat, or email to customers experiencing technical issues.
  2. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems efficiently and effectively.
  3. Guide customers through troubleshooting steps and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
  5. Stay up-to-date on products, services, and support procedures.
  6. Ensure timely and effective resolutions to meet customer satisfaction and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior call center experience.
  • Work-from-home experience.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Typing speed of 20+ WPM.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
