Trade Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Support Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for trading applications, liaising with business and technical staff, and collaborating with developers and product managers to deliver exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and be proficient in technology. They will enjoy problem-solving and interacting with various people throughout the day, and be passionate about learning new technologies and approaches.

  • Investigate and resolve client queries via phone and email.
  • Log all inquiries and accurately document client contact through to resolution in CRM.
  • Provide clients with guidance on system functionality and workflow.
  • Identify and communicate urgent issues that may have associated risk.
  • Build knowledge of the marketplace and stay up-to-date with current industry trends.
  • Contribute to knowledge management efforts.
  • Complete required training - regulatory and otherwise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous customer support experience in a high-pressure environment.
  • Previous experience supporting customers via phone, email, or chat.
  • Previous roles supporting Forex trading workflows.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, Linux RedHat, Java Applet, XML, MySQL, TCP-IP.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technology, Azure, and Database Administration.
  • Problem-solving skills, including defining problems, generating solutions, and evaluating options.
  • Initiative, including identifying tasks and taking action without waiting for instruction.
  • Product and service knowledge, leveraging technical expertise to meet customer needs.
  • Customer empathy, understanding emotional needs and responding appropriately.
  • Attention to detail, demonstrating a concern for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Telephone proficiency, using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaboration, working effectively with others to achieve common goals.
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization, adapting to changing events and environments.
  • Work ethic, working hard and being disciplined in completing tasks.
