Job Overview

The Store Cashier position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless transactions at the checkout area.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform calculations to collect payments accurately and provide change efficiently.
  • Operate retail systems, scanners, and credit/debit card terminals effectively.
  • Balance cash registers and generate reports for daily credit and debit sales.
  • Process payments, ensure accurate prices and quantities, and provide receipts to customers.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and perform regular reconciliations.
  • Ensure the checkout area remains clean and organized, enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Key Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with basic math operations and calculation methods.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation techniques.
