Job Overview

Store Cashier Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Store Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to handle cash transactions efficiently.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, preferably with experience in cashiering and POS operations.

  • Perform accurate math calculations to collect payments and make change.
  • Operate various sales equipment including registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accept payments and ensure accuracy of prices and quantities while providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Efficiently handle exchanges and refunds while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer and keep the checkout area clean and organized.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
