Job Overview

As a manufacturing cost estimator, you will play a key role in providing accurate and competitive cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects. This involves analyzing packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities to prepare detailed cost projections.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for carton packaging projects based on historical data and supplier pricing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements.
  • Utilize Excel-based estimate sheets to maintain and update pricing databases.
  • Support customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input.
  • Monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with packaging or print production software.
  • Familiarity with structural design tools is a plus.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time remote position that requires strong collaboration and communication skills.
