Carton Packaging Estimator Role:


Location: Remote work, Full-time (Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM EST)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects.
  • Analyze packaging specifications, customer drawings, and production capabilities.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and design teams to determine job scope and manufacturing requirements.
  • Utilize historical cost data and supplier pricing to prepare quotes.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases and estimate sheets.
  • Support customer inquiries with technical and cost-related input.
  • Monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations.
  • Recommend cost-saving alternatives in materials or production processes when applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects.
  • Working knowledge of printing processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
