AI Prompt Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced AI Prompt Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Conversational AI team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and refining prompts that drive natural, effective, and compliant interactions between AI voice/chat agents and end-users.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in shaping the conversational experience of our clients' customers. You will work closely with developers, linguists, and QA testers to improve AI responses and reduce errors. Your exceptional writing and editing skills will enable you to craft clear and concise prompts that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, write, and optimise conversational flows and dialogue structures for AI systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prompt effectiveness and compliance.
  • Analyse transcripts and call/chat logs to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct A/B testing and fine-tuning of prompts to maximise accuracy, compliance, and user satisfaction.
  • Document prompt libraries, version changes, and testing results for knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong background in linguistics, communications, AI/ML, or computer science (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or conversational AI platforms.
  • Understanding of NLP principles, dialogue management, and AI behaviour shaping.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity and tone adaptation.
  • Ability to analyse data, spot patterns, and recommend improvements.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and problem-solving mindset highly regarded.
