Learning Experience Developer

The Learning Experience Developer is responsible for designing engaging and effective learning activities that align with business objectives. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts to identify required learning outcomes and target learner populations.

  • Apply best practices in learning technologies and instructional design to create personalized learning experiences.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand the needs of learners and develop tailored content that addresses those needs.
  • Identify the most appropriate delivery mechanisms, such as e-learning, virtual classrooms, or face-to-face training.
  • Develop instructional strategies that promote learner engagement and motivation.
  • Design interactive elements, such as exercises and activities, to enhance the learning process.
  • Create supporting materials, like audio and video recordings, simulations, and games.
  • Devise assessments, such as quizzes and tests, to measure the effectiveness of the course.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure version control and organization of course materials.

This position is part of a team supporting learning services within a regional hub or center and contributes to the global learning strategy.

Key Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple web design technologies, including HTML, and multimedia formats.
  • Visual design skills, such as proficiency in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ability to write clear and concise instructional text, scripts, and other content.

A bachelor's or master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field is required.
