About Our Role

We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Tax Specialist. As a key member of our onboarding process, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client experiences.

As a Client Tax Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage existing client accounts, ensuring seamless interactions and positive outcomes for clients. Your duties will include organizing transaction data, compiling nexus information, updating tax software, and communicating with clients to guarantee satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses:

  • A strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Experience with project management and detailed analysis

You'll be responsible for managing 70 existing clients, handling tasks such as annual nexus reviews, sales tax settings setup and testing, client offboarding, billing support, and contributing to the development of our onboarding process.

Key Performance Metrics

Your success will be measured by the following outcomes after one year:

  • 95% of existing clients complete their annual nexus review within 365 days
  • Manage 70 existing clients, finalizing 2-4 nexus reviews per month and 20-25 existing permit projects and offboarding projects per month
  • Engage in regular training and education to enhance your skills, dedicating at least 3 hours quarterly
  • Maintain a minimum 80% completion rate for quarterly goals
