Job Opportunity

Support mortgage brokers in their loan application processes, providing high-level administrative assistance and delivering quality client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist mortgage brokers throughout the loan application process.
  • Support brokers at all stages of the loan process, from initial contact to settlement.
  • Provide executive and administrative support to mortgage brokers and their applications.
  • Request and gather client information, liaising directly with clients as needed.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies and prepare loan comparisons.
  • Prepare and package client loan applications, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting documentation.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Ensure compliance-related matters are addressed, capturing documentation and data in the CRM system.
  • Complete loan serviceability, order valuations, prepare forms, gather rate quotes, arrange loan doc execution, and settle with stakeholders.
  • Additional duties may include post-settlement aftercare and reviewing existing client loans to maintain client contact.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry.
  • Experience with aggregator CRM software and applyonline/Simpology (loanapp) lodgment systems.
  • Passionate about delivering quality client outcomes.
  • Understanding of data privacy, Australian best interest duty, responsible lending, and the broker's obligations under this legislation.
  • Accountable and accurate work habits.
  • Understanding of mortgage language and end-to-end loan application process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive, high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented individual.
  • Ability to understand financial documents, bank credit policy, and assess PAYG applications.
  • Great team player with a strong work ethic.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multitasking.
