Accounting Professional Role

The Accounting Professional will be responsible for accounting activities across the enterprise, whether embedded in Business Unit or Corporate. This role will be based in a global location.

About the Position

  • Books and sends intercompany transmittals, including coordination of charges to be transferred from one consolidated entity to another.
  • Books and bills of redirections and charge-outs, including cost center and suspense accounts clearing.
  • Monthly Excellence in Reconciliation reconciliation and analysis of all intercompany receivable, payable, and suspense balances of handled entities, including trace and escalation of imbalances for resolution and matching and clearing of open items.
  • Monthly intercompany settlement and collection of restricted balances.
  • Preparations of intercompany invoices to comply with in-country regulations for selected entities.
  • Quarterly accounts reconciliation and analysis of intercompany GL accounts in accordance with standards, including trace and escalation of reconciling items and reporting.
  • Supports other intercompany activities with customers and trading partner companies.
  • Demonstrates process leadership by providing guidance on global Intercompany guidelines and policies and process standards.
  • Executes leadership expectations in day-to-day activities; initiates and participates in process improvements to eliminate, streamline, standardize, and automate processes within the team to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Practices fiduciary role by safeguarding assets and taking ownership of own processes.
  • Follows proper procedures and controls to maintain accounting records that comply with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Participates as a member of an intercompany team.
  • Meets all requirements of Compliance functions including Internal Controls, Information Protection, Conflict of Interest, and Environmental, Fire, Safety, and Health.
  • Coordinates special projects and other ad hoc roles as assigned.
  • Performs other administrative functions as required.
